We loved this house. Very cute neighborhood. House was very clean and fresh. Easy drive to downtown Black Mountain. About a mile walk alongside a creek if you'd rather do that. Don't hesitate to book it!

This house was very comfortable for our family of 5. The bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on! Kitchen was well supplied. Great location to both Black Mountain and Montreat.

We were at Montreat Conference Center working at a week-long conference. This Black Mountain home, tucked in an adorable, quiet neighborhood, was the perfect place to get away from the event, do a little work, and relax and recharge. All of the comforts of home are there, including a kitchen with everything necessary to cook and dine and bedrooms on each floor with adjacent full bathrooms. We did not utilize the loft with twin beds, but that is available for larger groups, and it looks like at least one additional person could enjoy relative privacy in that space. The backyard was lovely, but unfortunately we could not make use of it because it rained every day we were there. But maybe next time, because we return to Montreat regularly and will definitely look up this and related properties next time we are there.

This home was quaint and quiet. We loved the neighborhood. It is walkable to downtown along side the creek. Property management was wonderful with their communications. The home was clean. I would warn that the loft area with the twin beds is not ideal for sleeping because the light and noise from the downstairs and the light from under the bedroom door upstairs does not allow that sleeping area to get very dark.

Black Mountain is a great town. This location was close to a small downtown with shops and restaurants as well as many other restaurants. The house had everything we needed for the week and was clean. Nice neighborhood by a stream my wife and I enjoyed walking along each day. We would stay here again upon visiting the area.

The property was as listed, very clean, nice neighborhood, easy access to bike trail and only 15 minute walk to the historic downtown area. Enjoyed the fire pit in back yard and the yard was perfect for my grandchild. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If you are looking for a quiet location in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Black Mountain, this house is a good possibility. Although there were a few issues when we arrived since we were the first renters, the property management company responded promptly, and we had a comfortable stay. Black Mountain is a fun little town and well located for area excursions.

We had a wonderful trip and thoroughly enjoyed this rental house. It was clean, spacious, smart tvs, great outdoor seating, and furnished tastefully. The home is in a great location - in a cute neighborhood convenient to both Black Mountain and Montreat. The rental manager, Jen, was delightful to work with and responsive to all of our requests. Having a daily nespresso was a real treat as well. The only tiny nit is not having a bar of soap or travel shampoo for the guests.

Home was lovely, spacious, comfy. Outdoor space was peaceful for morning coffee. Nespresso pods (8) provided as well as sugar, advil. If you are a coffee drinker, plan ahead. Also, bring soap and shampoo. Quiet area. Responsive hosts.
