Would be nice if it were more "on" the beach, but walking through 1/4 mile of dune grass is no big deal.As far as Manzanita, the beach is exposed, so can be windy. Oregon weather in general kind of stinks to be honest.So, yeah great place to see the nearby sights. May not be back soon, but it's not because of the house ... just because the climate in Oregon doesn't enable much beach play, and pretty much involves seeing the nearby sights. Those are nice to see, but you can only see them so many times.

The house is thoughtfully stocked and I love how truly pet friendly it is. Hard to say who had the better time - the humans or the doggos.

During our stay there were two broken windows that could only close manually, one in a bedroom that forced us into one of the other rooms. Curtains were dusty, carpet is old. The kitchen was nice and so was the fireplace and large windows facing west. For $700 per night we would expect this house to be in better condition.
