Helpful hosts and Apartment located close to the pretty village.

Dirty bath/shower and cobwebs everywhere in the bedroom.

My wife and I were hiking on the Via Francigena with our adult son and his girlfriend, and we were looking for a comfortable two bedroom apartment for the four of us near the center of Gambassi Terme. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. In addition, Silvia was an absolutely wonderful host who went way beyond our expectations in every respect. Below are a few highlights to point out: - The apartment was clean, well-decorated, spacious, and had everything we needed. - There was a nice balcony off of the bedroom on the lower floor and two even nicer balconies off of the bedroom on the upper floor. - Sylvia happened to see us hiking into town when they were driving past, and she offered us a ride to the apartment (which we gladly accepted after a long hike from San Miniato). - Some complimentary beer, wine, and food was provided for us in the apartment. - We had quite a bit of laundry that we needed to wash, and I asked Silvia if it would be ok to wash it in one of the sinks in the apartment. She instead offered to do it for us in her washer and dryer. (Again, we gladly accepted!) - The dining room of the restaurant that we went to in town that evening was completely filled, so we decided to instead order carry-out pizza and wine from them. We messaged Silvia to ask if she could pick us up to carry everything back to the apartment. She gladly agreed and was there within a few minutes. - Sylvia and her boyfriend/husband prepared a wonderful homemade hot breakfast for us. It was much more than we needed, but we packaged up most of what we couldn’t eat and had it for lunch that day.

Alles super! Silvia war sehr nett und hat sich immer schnell gemeldet. Das Appartment ist sehr nett und funktional. Alles war sehr sauber.
