The room was clean, in an excellent location, you can see the Toy train from the balcony, food was very good and price was reasonable. Host was very helpful & caring
It was a bit about ~4km away from the mall road but it's away from the mall road noise, and you can easily take a taxi to mall road for 20 rupee pp

Friendly, good service, very clean, large room, great view.
Slow wifi, no hangers for clothes.

It was a really good homestay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. The morning views include the side part of the kanchanjanga which can be viewed from the right side of the balcony . It had good water supply.
The homestay food was a little bit pricey. The quality was moderate to good. There was less variety of food in comparison to eating outside
The other problem was it was 2.8 km away from Mall road. So if someone wants to explore and have fun and get peacefully nights without extra noise then this is perfect for you.

The views from the balcony were astounding.
The steps up to the chalet were a killer to me. I couldn’t cope with them every day.
