Very nice place to stay very spacious

We had a fantastic stay here and would happily book again! The house had everything we needed and was clean, tidy, and smelled lovely when we arrived. There was plenty of storage space, plus all the essentials for a holiday base, including a washing machine and clothes line, which was a lifesaver after days out. The driveway deserves a special mention because finding somewhere in Scarborough with off-road parking feels a bit like spotting a unicorn! Add to that a large enclosed garden and it was pretty much perfect. The summer house was such a lovely touch, complete with fairy lights, a table and chairs, making it a great place to relax in the evening. There were also balls and rackets in the garden, which our tiny human thoroughly approved of and kept her happily entertained. The location was ideal for us. It’s not right in the middle of Scarborough, but we actually preferred that. It was lovely and peaceful, while still being less than a 10-minute drive from the big Sainsbury’s, with a handy little local shop just down the road. We were a party of three adults and one toddler, and the house worked perfectly for us. The only thing worth mentioning is that if you’re travelling with a very young child (I’d say around four and under), or one who believes they’re invincible, the staircase has an open side without a banister. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it did mean we had to keep a closer eye on our little daredevil, so it’s just something to be aware of. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back

Clean and tidy, had everything you could need and a few special touches

Didn’t like our bed, very soft and could feel the springs.

We thought the design/decor of the house was lovely, we really enjoyed the under floor heating in the living room! The location was nice and quiet and it was only a 10 minute drive into Scarborough. We loved the fact there was milk and butter in the fridge and there was bread, cookies and a bottle of wine on arrival! Thank you :)

The wifi didn’t work on the television in the bedroom, there could have maybe be an extension lead in the bedroom to give the option of more plug sockets when wanting to charge your mobile etc. Maybe a sponge or dish cloth left in the kitchen so we could wipe down the surfaces.
