We were a group of professional men on a golf trip. For the money we paid we expected much more.

Well-built chalet, clean and comfortable beds, generally tidy, well equipped.

Many things. BEWARE if you want to rent this chalet. 1. The online photos and promotion are very misleading. There is no view from the chalet grounds. We are hidden behind trees. The drone shots on the booking site show the view above and behind the trees. Why show drone shots?? We are not up there! 2. There is not much of a yard for outside activities 3. There is a deck but it overlooks the parking area and is in the shade in the afternoon. 4. The place was tidy, but not really clean. This place needs a deep cleaning, it just felt grimy. Weekly dusting and wiping will not do the trick. 5. The garbage and recycle bins outside were full when we arrived. What are we supposed to do with our garbage? 6. The large tv in an otherwise nice living room was over the fireplace (!) and as a result the plastic frame of the tv had melted making the tv unusable (the HDMI ports were blocked). The smaller tvs downstairs worked but were not suitable for more than a few people. 7. Even little things were not taken care of. The games room was fine, but there was no chalk - playing pool was impossible. 8. There were plenty of plates, glasses and utensils, very basic, but fine. But the pots and pans were all warped from overheating and overuse. 9. We used the dishwasher, once. It is basically useless. We had to rewash everything by hand. 10. We used the BBQ, once. We had a tough time getting it to work. It is cheap, old and rusting away. 11. The hot tub was a joke. The cover was completely broken, exposing the water. The thermostat was on a governor making it impossible to raise the water temperature above 99. So, a lukewarm tub. It looked clean enough, but we never used it. 12. There's a second fridge downstairs. Not essential, but it's there, would have been nice to keep our drinks. It's broken. This place is obviously managed as one of many to make money full-time.

Very good property.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. It has two game rooms as shown in the pictures, which we loved. We were also given access to a private club with a pool. Our host was really nice and responded to our enquiries right away.
