I liked the distance from the beach to the hotel. It really is sea side!
The only complaint was that the bed was hanging off the frame making it uncomfortable to sleep on if you got too close to the edge. You’d end up slipping off from it being uneven but that’s not really a big deal.

Kisty at the front desk was amazing! This was my first beach experience ever, and I was traveling solo. She was knowledgeable about the area and gave me great tips on how to "beach" properly :) You can tell that the hotel has aged - don't expect a JW Marriott. It is a super cute beachy vibe. You can tell they clean very well and there were zero pests or other issues with the room. The bed was comfy and AC was strong. You can't beat the location - literally right on the beach, nestled in a cute neighborhood with a Big Texan (think off brand Bucees) a 3-minute drive away. I will definitely be returning!
The walls are very thin, so you will be able to hear your neighbors (and vice versa) if they're raising their voices.

Location
Room looked like someone had broken in and stole furniture. The AC was EXTREMELY loud, almost impossible to sleep at night. Lastly, the door of the bathroom was missing paint or a part of the door on the bottom.
