We had a wonderful stay at Sand Beach Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Even though our flight was cancelled and we arrived much later than planned, everything was handled with great understanding and kindness. Also the delay of two laguages.
The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and we felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The service was excellent, and the team really made us feel welcome, especially Elisabeth 😍
Thank you for making our stay so special. We would definitely recommend Sand Beach Hotel and would love to come back again! ❤️
The only thing we would have appreciated is a mosquito net over the bed, as this would have made our stay even more comfortable.

The staff - Lizi was so nice to us -, the quality of food, the amazing private beach.

The ocean view from the infinity pool was breathtaking. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Made us feel at home. We checked in really late and checked out really early after 6 nights, and our arranged airport shuttle experience was seamless. We definitely would stay there again.

For some reason the reviews in Zanzibar seems to overrate the hotels, possibly because they want their holiday to tick all the boxes for their social media? Anyway - some nuance
Personel - a 10
Rooms and hotel - a 9
Food - a 7
Location - a 8. Quiet but far away from other restaurants etc
But… The main issue is the constant, monotonous noice during the day is unbearable, if music had been selected instead of the annoying drum beat and volume been lower it would work, but the repetitive sound all day does not match the quiet location, that is kind of the point for a hotel away from the more busy part of the beach imho.
