The New Broadway Design Apartment
Freshly renovated uniquely designed, very bright 2nd floor apartment furnished with antiques and hand-picked design furniture, decorated with original artworks, hand woven carpets & Venetian mirrors.
The apartment is located in the heart of Budapest Theatre district in a recently reconstructed end of 19th century building just steps away from the famous Budapest Opera House, St Stephen Cathedral many theatres, bars, clubs & restaurants.
Budapest main Fashion Street, Andrassy Boulevard is just crossing Nagymezo street some 150 meters from where the apartment is located. The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor of a private residential building & accessible by a wide marble stairway & by elevator as well.
To ensure higher safety & privacy the apartment is separated from the staircase by a locked door & has its own terrace/foyer overlooking onto the inner courtyard & equipped with teak terrace furniture. The apartment features a suitable entrée, a large & bright dining room equipped with a dining table suitable even for 6 persons.
The bathroom has been fully refurbished & equipped with bath tub/shower, inbuilt washbasin with a huge mirror, plenty of storage space & an inbuilt energy efficient washing machine. The toilet is separated.
The full equipped kitchen is suitable even for preparing multiple course menus for dinner parties. The living room is accessible from the dining room and equipped with a 3 seater sofa bed (in” sleeping mode” serves as a queen size dbl bed) a comfortable designer armchair & sitting couch from the same set.
The 48” Hd TV provides 130+ international TV channels. and all major streaming services open for guests for free. You can enjoy also DVD films on the DVD player. There is also a multilingual library in the living room containing hundreds of books.
A part of the living room has been turned into a study equipped with a writing desk with a comfy chair.
The main bedroom (queen size bed with high quality mattress) is accessible from the living room & has large windows (shaded by wooden roll-up) to the street.
The second bedroom is separated by a high end design glass slide-door & equipped with a double bed & bedsides & a hotel style shelf/desk just by the large window overlooking the street.
You can play with the lights according your mood & occasion with the designer lamps placed around the apartment. You have superfast optical internet all over the apartment. The apartment is fully comfortable for 4 persons, also for Families with children.
City tax: 4 % of Rental Amount

Thomas was easy to work with, very communicative and flexible. The rental was in a very central location with easy walking access to virtually anything we needed. Budapest exceeded our expectations and having a clean safe and comfortable place to stay made it even more enjoyable.

We recently stayed at this property on the "Pest" side of Budapest. They property was exactly as listed and the interaction with the owner was very positive. Check-in was We were able to walk to many of Budapest's attractions (Parliament buildings, St. Stephans, Dohany synagogue etc).

We found it close to grocery, pharmacy, ATM and coffe shops. Easy public transportation access. Our only difficulty came from confusing check in..too many, unmarked keys and unit door unmarked. But overall our stay was enjoyable.

Lovely apartment in a great location--easily walkable to major sites in Pest as well as great public transit access to all of city (Buda, Szechenyi baths). Thomas and his team were great communicators before and during stay, and gave great advice to seeing city and even arranged for airport pick up. Slight hiccup in checking in but team VERY quickly responded and was fixed in no time, which I think shows how responsive they are overall (which is very important). Quirky decor made it even more fun (my almost adult sons loved the Wii). Would stay here again and in any other Thomas Varga run property.
