Sanna Ubud A Pramana Experience

This was the most peaceful, beautiful, luxurious and relaxing stay. The restaurant and food were incredible. No need to leave the hotel to find fine dining.

We stayed at Sanna Ubud for three nights on our honeymoon. Our villa was lovely and we enjoyed having a private pool, though we did make use of the communal pool too. We ate at the restaurant a lot and thought the food was excellent. The daily afternoon tea was delicious! The spa was another highlight, we loved the novelty of the inclinator and the indoor/outdoor treatment room, and the treatments themselves were brilliant.

As the spa is popular it gets booked up quickly, and they only had one nighttime slot available during our stay, which was a shame as it is most impressive in the day. I think more could be done to reserve slots for hotel guests, or perhaps give them advance warning that they need to book ahead of time. On the last day the hotel arranged a transfer for us to take us to the airport, recommending a pick-up time based on our flight. The driver was 20 minutes late and it caused a lot of stress, as traffic is unpredictable. The team didn’t seem to know what time our flight was despite having communicated this with them earlier, and it was a frustrating end to the trip.
