Very quiet, single level and very clean.

The property was exceptionally clean and well presented. Although we were only there for a few days and did not use the kitchen very much one could see that it well equipped and in good condition. Towels and bedding was good and the bed and sofas were comfortable. Really good location with an easy stroll into Ashbourne town centre and Ashbourne Park, which was particularly useful to us as we were travelling with a dog. Instructions from the owner Ian regarding check in, parking and general maintenance were helpful and easy to follow. All in all an excellent property

Only a minor detail but exiting from the property might be a little challenging for those less confident reversing

Lovely little cottage in a really good location. The property appeared clean and well kept. Parking for one car outside. Great location for going to Alton Towers.

The bedding and towels smelt awful, we couldn’t work out if it was that the pillows and duvets that were dirty or whether the laundry hadn’t dried properly after being washed but I couldn’t use the pillow as it was so bad. The sofa bed is not very comfortable and a duvet had been wrapped around the mattress to add some comfort. The kettle is shorting and you have to keep moving it on its base for it to complete its boil. We were sent instructions before arrival about reversing out the street and not to use anyone’s drive to turn around as was a cul de sac, it felt unsafe reversing out of the street onto a road I observed cars speeding up.
