Close to Wellingborough with driveway big enough for van

The house is spacious, comfortable and located in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. The bed was especially comfortable, and the bathroom and bedding were very clean. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend the property.

The main drawback is the location for guests without a car, as was the case for me. The nearest bus stop is about a 20-minute walk away, and there are no shops nearby, so it can feel quite isolated if you rely on public transport. The house was generally clean, but not spotless. I found several dead insects on the window sills, which may have been due to the recent hot weather in England, but they should have been removed before my arrival. I also found what appeared to be a used tissue left on the main bedroom window, and the inside of the microwave had not been cleaned. It felt as though the most visible areas had been cleaned, but some details had been overlooked. I also think a few extra essentials would improve the stay. There was no liquid hand soap, no shower gel, and no kitchen paper, which would have been very useful.

Nice quality bed and bedding.

Microwave is rusty and smelly. No dishcloths or dishwasher. Wrong code sent for key safe.
