Excellent location!

The apartment was spacious, charming, quiet, clean and comfortable. I loved the galley kitchen which had everything one would need. It has a tub and a separate walk in shower ! So nice. The primarily bedroom has a half bath too.The location is great. It is very central and so close to the river. There is a Coop grocery store to the right (and one close by across the river) and a natural foods store across the street. Getting There: If you have a taxi drop you off it will be on a street above old town - on the same level as the Castle. There is an entrance to an elevator on that level. The sign above the door says Schlossberg. Drag your bags in, take the lift to -7 and you will come out at the Old Town. The apartment is nearby.

I cannot say that there was anything that I did not like. Be aware however that it is on the fourth floor with no lift. I have recently developed some mobility issues so it was somewhat of a challenge for me to carry my luggage up the stairs. After an email to Salome she arranged for one of her staff people to help bring my bags down. . It was so nice to be able to have my luggage taken to the street.

Perfect location and residence for a trip to the Interlaken area and for hikes in the surrounding Oberland region. Instead of Interlaken, this rental puts you steps away from Thun Castle and lets you wake up in a quant and quiet village in the region. The space was large enough to fully satisfy the five members of my family, everything was very clean, and the kitchen area had everything we needed to put together our meals instead of eating out. I would highly recommend this spot for large groups or families.

literie moyenne, équipement minimaliste de la cuisine, manque d'éclairage dans l'appartement, cafards -pourtant signalés au propriétaire pendant le séjour- proximité du carillon sonnant tous les quarts d'heure dès 6h du matin.....
