Persistent faults and basic shortcomings, made this one of our most disappointing family holidays.

The only thing this property has going for it is the location and views of the beach.

Unfortunately, our stay at Beaufort Apartment was significantly affected by a number of serious maintenance issues. The boiler was faulty, leaving us without hot water or heating, which was particularly difficult as we were travelling with a toddler and a baby. We had to boil kettles to bath the children and wash bottles. We were even advised to switch the boiler off completely because of pressure concerns. The downstairs toilet did not flush, and there was a leak in one of the bedrooms with water dripping onto the bed our toddler slept in overnight. The blinds in one bedroom were broken and would not close. We were disappointed to learn that some of the maintenance issues we encountered (including the boiler issues) appeared to have been reported previously by other guests going back several months, but were not resolved. While the apartment was reasonably clean, it did not feel like the four-star property advertised. The overall finish was fairly basic, with a number of details suggesting a lack of investment and upkeep. We also had concerns about safety in the kitchen, where the induction hob had been installed over a join in the wooden worktop. Although a plumber attended the property while we were there, the problems with the boiler were not resolved during our stay. As a result, much of our holiday was spent dealing with basic accommodation issues rather than enjoying our break. We requested to speak directly with the owner but were told all communication had to go through the property agent. We subsequently requested a refund but were offered only £150 as a "goodwill gesture". Since then, our attempts to discuss the matter further have been ignored. Sadly, we cannot recommend this property.

Excellent place with Caldey view.

Perfect location and amazing view of the sea and Caldey island from the windows. Everything was great and convenient for our family.

No coffee machine of any kind. Just a kettle. Freezer door is disconnected from the furniture door, therefore, difficult to open freezer. Accommodation with many staircases is not suitable for small children or elderly people. We were fine but this should be mentioned in the description.

Great location for a weekend staying in Tenby

Great location with sea views. Easy key collection and communication with the management of the apartment. Spacious living space and good sized table in the kitchen for meals. Beds clean and comfy.

These days have come to expect quite high standards regarding decor and maintenance when staying in a holiday let. Have come to expect something a bit smarter than what I would get at home. This property was well used and understandably hard to maintain due to size and location. Felt like what I would get in 1986, not what I've come to expect in 2026. There were a number if small maintenance issues which didn't really detract from our stay but didn't endear us to the accommodation.
