The Riad is big and spacious, every room has its own bathroom and the big living room accommodated all of us (six people). Many nice details like the tiles, mosaics, lamps.

The kitchen was dirty, everything was sticky and crammed. The bathroom could also be cleaner. The lady that works there can’t speak English, charged our small children for tourist tax even though it is stated everywhere that children don’t pay. She kept washing clothes but never hangs them, beside one day where she hang the beddings all over the staircase. It resulted that we had to eat on a wet, stinky tablecloth. She comes in to serve breakfast at 8:30 (breakfast doesn’t starts before 9), she doesn’t washes her hands and she serves only sweet pastries and old/stale pancakes. She kept telling us that we didn’t need to buy toilet paper but she never provided it to us, there was a thin roll only in one of the bathrooms when we arrived. It is sad to see such a nice Riad not being taken care of properly.

The riad was a spacious 3 bedroom house over 4 floors with 2 terraces. It is full of character with lovely facilities. Breakfast was served by the housekeeper who came into the house each morning you make breakfast for us. She was absolutely lovely and the breakfast was wonderful. It was a bit different every day. The residential area we stayed in was just outside the old town of Marrakech - either a 40 minute walk or a cheap taxi. It felt very safe and it was very quiet. There were cafes where you can eat and a supermarket. The pool area was very good, with 3 pools. 1 pool was the 'quiet' pool reserved for adults and the other 2 were a bit more lively. The whole area and riad was a great place to relax after the madness of Marrakech.
