It was easy and convenient to get to right off the freeway. It’s a smaller hotel with only 16 rooms. My room had a full-size bed which was perfect for one person.
There is a microwave and a small refrigerator in the room also.
It’s also very convenient if you’re hungry because there are three fast food eating places right there.
They had a Burger King, a KFC, and a Pizza Hut.
There is also a Starbucks, which is good because there is no coffee makers in these rooms.
No matter what I tried, I could not get the TV to work. Both the box and the TV were on, but it said there was no signal whatsoever, so unfortunately I did not get to make use of the TV.

We didn’t have breakfast.
Check in had to be on line and I had exceptional help and patience from the fellow who was also working at the pizza counter.
Moving all our luggage without a trolley was a bit harder.

Excellent location for visiting friends in Russell. Reasonably priced with comfortable beds, clean linen and towels. The room has had some refurbishing, but there were no rails in the bathroom to hang towels, etc. very good general cleaning standards.
The outside door could not be secured, or locked, which posed a security risk. This is a busy place with people using the food court and being a bit of a truck stop. Needs some finishing touches (i.e. rails and hooks in the bathroom). Smelled a bit old and musty.
