YAKKA MINOR

This place in Samarkand was actually pretty nice. It’s right next to the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, so the location is great and it’s really convenient for getting around. I believe the place is run by a couple, and it was mainly the wife who welcomed us when we arrived. She was really friendly, and the whole check-in process was pretty smooth. One thing I really liked is that you can do your own laundry here, which is super convenient, especially when you’re traveling. The overall atmosphere is pretty comfortable, and it’s a nice place to stay. The room itself is nothing fancy and a little on the small side, but it’s perfectly fine. Overall, I’d say we had a pretty good experience staying here.

There are two main downsides to this place, though. First, getting in and out by car can be a bit of a hassle, especially if you’re using Yandex to get around. The property is tucked away in a pretty narrow alley, and there are often cars parked along the way. So drivers sometimes have trouble turning into the alley or getting all the way to the property, which can be pretty inconvenient. The second issue is that the power supply doesn’t seem very reliable. We actually experienced a power outage during our stay, and it lasted for over an hour. There were no lights, and we couldn’t even take a shower. It was pretty frustrating, and it definitely affected our overall experience.

Guest house in a great location in Samarkand. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice

Listing was incorrect as I booked a room with private bathroom but it turns up it was a shared bathroom.
