Czar's Place

A very satisfied guests here! Nag stay kami dito sa Czar with my fam and honestly, I didn’t expect its quality especially with its price😮 The place is clean, accommodating staffs, comfy yung room, and most importantly, a very chill place! Also very near lang siya sa town kaya you will not be bothered to travel far para sa mga toiletries, groceries, etc. Though its short, we enjoyed our stay here and kami ay babalik ulit dito if ever makabalik kami nang Siquijor! 🫶

The staff were incredible and very accommodating. Francis and Jean both helped us and were exceptional hosts. Everytime an employee walked past me they always smiled and asked how I’m doing and if I need anything. The room was very big, AC was very cold, and we were the first ones to use their new towels! 🤗. The rooms were very clean and were perfect for the price. We only stayed one night but would have stayed longer if our itinerary allowed for it. During our stay the bar and restaurant wasn’t open but it wasn’t a big issue. We were able to walk to a nearby place for dinner and they let us use their chiller for some drinks we brought back to keep cold. Jean and Francis explained to me that there is a new owner and pretty much the entire team is new, even Jean and Francis have only been there for a month. There were some major renovations going on with a different structure but the noise wasn’t an issue. They told me that there is work from 8-5 daily, but it wasn’t bad at all. Looks like they are making some huge improvements to the place. Can recommend to anyone looking for a nice budget friendly accommodation in a good location.

Good location, cheap dorms, cheap bike rentals. I was the only one in the dorm for two nights, maybe because of the previous reviews.

I’m usually fine with super basic accom. There was no water in the female dorm because of road work and they didn’t tell me as I was checking in. Fine. They told me to use this other shower down several flights of stairs and across the property. It was disgusting. I would have assumed it would at bare minimum be clean due to the inconvenience of not having water in the dorm. It didn’t look like it’d been cleaned for several weeks, used bar soaps on the ground, and the floors and counters so sandy. Pretty unacceptable. They also didn’t empty the full trash in the dorm bathroom for who knows how long, which is gross because you don’t flush your toilet paper. There was rat feces on the balcony to the dorm.
