The house was beautiful and just as described. The owner was very responsive and great with questions. There were a few miscellaneous things that need updated. The bedroom off the kitchen was stuffy and needs an air-conditioning unit since there isn’t proper air flow. The appliances in the kitchen need updated! Sometimes it’s better to put the money into new appliances before they breakdown and cause property damage. The water heater needs an upgrade too because four of us stayed and couldn’t shower at the same time (in separate showers) without running out of hot water, so we had to stagger our showers apart which although isn’t bad-just annoying especially since it’s able to sleep more than 4 people. The view was spectacular, but unfortunately it was extremely foggy and rainy every day so we couldn’t utilize the lake and everything that goes with it, but obviously this wasn’t the owners fault-only Mother Nature. It would have also been nice to have had some welcome brochures of the local area or a binder giving some helpful information to tourists such as where was the best place to eat, hike, shop or sight see in the area. I know that Google is a thing, but sometimes locals have the best advice!!

This property was as good or better than I expected. I stayed with my adult children for a week and we had such a wonderful time. Plenty of room to hang out regardelss of the weather - rain or shine. We loved it!

Beautiful location. The stairs from the parking to the house may be troublesome for some if you have any limitations. The house was plenty big enough to spread out. We came with plans of ice fishing but did not have much luck. Beautiful location for a family get away, thank you for sharing your home.

2 of my college friends and all 3 of our husbands got together for a little reunion. This place was perfect. 3 sleeping spaces each on a different floor. The 2 baths worked well. Everyone was comfortable.

Three of us had a great time in early November, the weather was unseasonably warm. The house is in a very good location right on the lake and very clean inside. The house is pretty well equipt for cooking as well. Definitely hope to be back next year and i'm sure it would be real nice in the summer when swimming in ther lake would be an option.

This place was great for stargazing at night and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities. Wish there were more restaurants in the immediate area but definitely would stay again!

This was a wonderful trip, my husband is from Maine and we have traveled back and forth for years. My brother and sister in Law have always wanted to come so it finally came to past, was a most wonderful time. Lake St George was perfect. We toured all day and came back to camp at night. Loved it so much now we want to return in summer and do just lake life. This camp is as nice as they can get. Perfect for anyone. The view is spectacular If you are looking this is the place for you.

This house is simply amazing. We had a very nice week in New England, and the main reason the vacation was so good was coming back to this house every evening. If this property is available for your journey, I highly encourage renting it.

Our family really enjoyed our stay on Lake Saint George. We spent time sitting on the dock and went out in the canoe. The cottage had everything we needed. Location is secluded, but not too far from Belfast, which is a nice town to visit. Hope to come back to this spot again in the future.

The house and property were even better than described. Very quiet, serene, and beautiful. The kitchen had all of the basics that were needed to cook almost everyday. The house was imaculately clean. It was wonderful to go swimming in the lake, relax in the hammock, and we used the canoe to paddle around the gorgeous Lake one afternoon. We even built a small fire in the fire pit one evening. Overall a really wonderful stay. Thank you!

This property was everything we wanted in a summer getaway. Easy to get to, close to grocery stores and gas ( and ice cream!), and right on the water. The kids loved swimming and using our own paddle board, but beware the bottom of the lake is rocky. The water is crystal clear, and the fishing was pretty good too. We saw lots of deer and a few wild rabbits on the camp road too. Highly recommend this location for summer vacations.

Great location right on the lake, clean rooms and bathrooms, comfortable linens. We were a family of 6 - 4 adults and 2 kids under 4 - and had a wonderful weekend. P.S. - The best part is to dive into the water from the boat ramp on a hot summer day.

We loved waking up every day for a morning swim in the crystal clear water of Lake St. George. Then more fun on the lake paddling our kayaks and paddle boards. Hearing the loons in the morning and evening was a plus as well. The chalet is well appointed. Love the deck looking out onto the lake. A suggestion would be to have a table and chairs on the deck to enjoy meals outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and hope to come back again in the future. It was perfect for what we were looking for which was rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Thank you so much for a great time!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable in the cabin and it was very spacious. We enjoyed swimming from the dock as well as taking the canoe out on the water. It was just secluded enough to be a relaxing getaway but close enough to town for us to be able to get things that we needed throughout our visit. We will definitely be back and recommending to family amd friends!

A beautiful property and location! Everything you could possibly need was in the house, and you can't beat the location for quick trips to the coast, or a cool little brewery right down the block. We loved it so much we went to see if we could book another visit for later on in the summer on the drive home. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

My wife and I stayed here for a full week early in the summer. The sunrise over the lake every morning was absolutely beautiful and the area was quite peaceful. The house overall was very well kept and cleaned and the hosts were very responsive when we had questions. We truly had no complaints about the house, only compliments, and would absolutely stay here again in the future! This would also be a great place to stay if you had a small family. Huge thank you to the hosts for allowing others to enjoy this beautiful gem of an abode!
