Breakfast choices very good. Seeds/nuts for porridge would be good. Bread for toast not special. Excellent yogurt pots. Cooked breakfast choices excellent. Home made jams preferable to plastic pots. Service and staff excellent. Breakfast area cosy, characterful and welcoming. Very nice building with character and modern touches. Had a very nice bedroom with view of fells. Very enjoyable stay. A lucky find!
If picky see above for a few tweaks at breakfast. Seeds/nuts/ honey/jams could be bettered but really breakfast was perfect!

Breakfast beautiful, could have kept the gorgeous yoghurt pots in a fridge & maybe more fresh fruit.
Landing light shining through the bedroom door all night

Breakfast was nice and cleanliness was very good
The bed was uncomfortable and not a king size as we expected. There was nowhere to sit down with a mirror to do hair and makeup. TV was in a position where you had to sit awkwardly on the bed to watch. The door/window in the bathroom could do with an opaque cover on it so the blind doesn't have to be closed in the daytime making it dark.
