Leider waren die Polster auf der Terrasse voller Tierhaare, so dass Sitzen nicht zu empfehlen war. Kaffeemaschine seltsam.

This is not really a hotel to rush through for one night, it is a stay and dwell gem. Situated in the old town centre of Aquasparta it is the top location. Beautiful large, well decorated room, modern en suite and a large patio with mountain view at day and gentle music from the bistro around the corner at night. (unfortunately only until 11). Landlady is super friendly and easily reachable by Whatsapp, even late at night. If you are looking for a slightly decadent Italian city stay on a shoestring budget, look no further!

Situated in the old town centre of Aquasparta it can be a bit tricky to reach by car to off load luggage if and when the traffic restrictions are in force. Check with the landlady beforehand! The room and the patio, the bed, kitchen towels etc were magnificent but I didn't give full marks for facilities. Unlike her great talent for making guest feel comfortable, technical maintenance doesn't seem the host's forte. The fridge was a bit on the warm side, despite being on the lowest setting, something else technical was wrong which I can't remember, (it couldn't have been that important) but the lowest marks are for internet / wifi. I had to cold reboot the router to get it to work at all and the signal fades just meters from the unit. I gave the host some advice how to improve the signal and hope that upon my return next year this issue will be improved for an overall 12 out of 10 rating.
