The house was perfect! Well designed and well furnished. We didn't cook while there, but the kitchen seemed adequately equipped. It's "out in the woods," so quiet, but still easy to get to, and not too far from restaurants and activities. We'd definitely stay here again!

Well appointed kitchen, double sliding glass doors that look out onto the deck with rocking chairs. Perfect for enjoying the view of the lake and very peaceful.

Property has a great location and can easily get to Starkey Marina. The house itself is unique and set up well for 2-4 people. Bed was comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Deer are abundant and wander around the property. The yard had not been kept up with mowing or spraying. We had to walk through high grass to get to the entrance steps from the parking area and both ended up with bug bites. The advertised deck above the carport would have been a nice feature but there was no power to lights or fans so it's not usable if warm. If you are bringing a boat, it is a little challenging to get the boat maneuvered to a level parking spot.Overall a nice place but the yard condition, and lack of power on the upper deck limited use of the outdoor space, and boat parking were turn offs.
