Location was excellent, with all amenities and sites within walking distance. The property was comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot.
There was a slight smell coming from the bathroom/outside the bathroom, which was unpleasant when you entered the house but not too offensive

The best thing about this apartment is the location - very close to the sea and all of Funchal's highlights. The apartment is also equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
The apartment looked clean, but the bathroom had a sewer smell and we saw three cockroaches in the apartment during our 9-day stay. When we informed the host in a polite way, we received an AI-written response. We understand that cockroaches live on the island, but the host could do more to seal off entry points in the bathroom and communicate better with the guests.
