Our stay at the apartments in Ojochal, Costa Rica, was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning surroundings and warm hospitality of the owner Kevin. The apartments themselves were well equiped and clean. The lush tropical garden and swimming pool an extra layer of charm to our experience. Overall, our time in these Xotica was wonderful. Thank you again!

Excelente ubicación, el servicio al cliente bien. La piscina es bonita, el lugar estaba muy limpio y equipado, la terraza en cada cuarto se aprecia.

Cobran el IVA pero no mandan la factura electrónica, lo cual es incorrecto (y no soy la única así lo dice en otros comentarios) entonces en realidad uno paga más por la estadía. Las fotografías no son fidedignas, creo que ponen las de aire acondicionado y las más bonitas de studio duplex pero no son iguales en la realidad. Nosotros alquilamos 4 habitaciones, todas eran de tamaños y comodidad diferente pero me costaron lo mismo. Las camas no son aéreas como en las fotos ni todos los cuartos son igual de amplios o con techos altos. En todas el ventilador funciona pero no tiene potencia y por eso hay otro ventilador en la mesa de noche, entre ambos se solventa un poco el tema del calor pero no demasiado al punto de considerar que se duerme con frescura. En 2 de las 4 habitaciones no servía del todo el Wifi (dic 2023 y enero 2024) no sé si sigue igual, me dijeron que había un router pero hay comentarios de enero que no sé si serán de otras fechas de estancias pero me queda la duda de si realmente había wifi ahí. La ducha no tiene agua caliente, la cama de una de las habitaciones definitivamente no era queen, y la presión del agua muy baja en 2 de los inodoros de las 4 habitaciones lo cual es incomodo porque hay que jalar tres veces y rezar que funcione. En una de las casas no se cerraban las ventanas y había mosquitos (lo cual es normal pero incómodo si no se pueden cerrar las ventanas). Creo que tiene potencial, pero también mucho que mejorar y pondré fotos de 2 habitaciones.

The bed is very comfortable, good matress, and when we asked, we received a second blanket. The room had a very quiet and pleasant air conditioning, WiFi does work and the beautiful, large communal pool in the complex is a advantage.

The bed is only queen-size and only 1.90 m in the length. When you are tall, the bed is too small. I have been a Genius 3 level for years and have booked over 100 accommodations on Booking.com so far. The kitchen was really disappoiting. The owner told us he was sorry the kitchen didn't meet our expectations, everything was brand new. I find that difficult to understand, the pots were badly scratched and all the knives in the knife block were completely blunt. In the pictures the kitchen looked much more modern and functional. The landlord is welcome to believe me, he is welcome to try it out himself. Even though there were a lot of ants in the kitchen, which isn't a big deal or surprising if the windows aren't tight. And be sure you have a sleeping mask, otherwise Its hard to sleep after sunrise, because there are huge windows without dark curtains. We also missed a hand towel in the bathroom and a small bedside lamp (+second dessert). Nobody can help the street noise outside, but you should be prepared for it. All in all overpriced for the price.
