Rozafa Fish City Hotel

It’s difficult to describe. It’s like a motel theme park. We loved it. It’s a bonkers place. We stayed 2 nights on our way to Macedonia. Our room was very comfortable with robes and huge bed. The pool had closed but they allowed us to use it. It was very peaceful. Nice ice cream and cake shop. Breakfast included. Bread, cheese,vegetables and jam etc. Cafe bar. There is a cinema too but we didn’t use. The staff were attentive. We ate at fish restaurant twice and the food was very good. Fresh fish and sushi. It doesn’t smell. Huge heads in the hillside on top of old military tunnels are interesting.

As we are English we like cup of tea in bed but no tiny kettle. 🤣 First world problem 🤦‍♀️

The Rosafa Fish City hotel is more of a resort on the outskirts of Elbasan. It is quite a fascinating place. There are still buildings working in the fish industry, but there isn't any fish smell. The swimming pool is very big with a pool bar in the middle. The Sushi restaurant was excellent, and they server burgers etc for non-fish eaters. The quality of the food and the prices (for Brits) is great. The hotel rooms are big and airy, and they are nicely laid out. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The Bar in the hotel was good fun, and the range of drinks is vast. The breakfast is a set plate of meats, cheese, ommolette, fresh orange juice, breads and jam. It is actually really nice, and I like not having to go to the buffet for once. The best think about Rosafa Fish City hotel was the staff. They couldn't be more helpful. We had an issue with our hire car, we had a smashed bottle plus cut foot, we lost a medical kit etc etc...we must have been a bit of a troublesome set of guests, but they happily sorted everything. You guys can be proud of the service you provide. Really well done.

Water pressure in the shower in room 106. Not much information available in Reception about the local area. Really minor stuff in the grand scheme of things.

Het restaurant was fantastisch zowel qua eten als qua perosneel. Ruime kamers op een heel fijn domein met groot zwembad. Veel parking. Aanrader!

Er een receptie maar niemand aanwezig (ondanks we binnen de juiste uren er waren). Er was een grote taalbarrière en moeilijk communiceren. Ligt nergens dichtbij dus eerder als doorreis hotel.

Très belle et grande piscine. Très bon restaurant. Personnel très accueillant. Parking
