Place was stunning, beautiful and convenient location and immaculately clean
The kitchen was fully stocked crockery wise but was missing some basic amenities. Instructions were left to wipe down work surfacing on our leaving but no spray cleaner was supplied. I also think a small supply of basic cooking supplies would have been beneficial (small amount of cooking oil, salt, pepper, aluminium foil etc) I will say a couple of dishwasher tablets and a small container of washing up liquid was supplied.

Surprised how spacious the lodge felt.
The mattress on the double bed was shocking, there is no spring or foam left. Feels like you’re sleeping on wood. After reading some reviews this seems to have been going on for a long time. Just change it. Comfort is key

The property was in a good quiet location. It was very spacious and all the rooms were a good size
The matress on the double bed is well past its best
It was lumpy, squeaky and fairly uncomfortable.
The pillow cases and bedding also looked very old and poor quality.
The kitchen cutlery and cooking utensils looked ancient and didnt match
No strainer for boiled veg

We liked the space and the comfort
In the main bedroom we could have done with places to hang say dressing gown on the back of the door?All so I noticed a bad stain on the duvet after taking the cover off (this was in the double bedroom)
