The house was so near to the river and having tea on our balcony at 7 am we could watch as the community came to life. We checked our social media as the WI-FI was very good. A/C was available but we preferred to only use the paddle fans.A good wash with plentiful hot water and towels we were ready for a home cooked Kerala breakfast ( free of charge) and to discuss our days plans . The whole family helped with arranging autos to go to the nearest ATM ,canoe trips and onward Tain reservations.The family also have a beautiful houseboat moored just across from the house and we were shown around.It really is beautiful and well maintained.We would consider it on our next visit here. There were many small shops around us and tea/coffee shops and eating places. We think we were so lucky to have chosen this Homestay.

There wasn’t a bad thing to say as the family lived downstairs and just a what’s app sent to them with a request would give an immediate response.The family were what made this Homestay so good.They are so interesting and interested and could answer our many questions and very caring.

Perfect accommodation right next to the river so you keep the back water vibes at all time. Great family, great food great service!

The location was right on the river, with a lovely little balcony, perfect for watching the sunrise. The rooms were spacious with air-con. The owners were so helpful, kind and warm. It felt super homely. They made us chai & such a yummy breakfast.
