Property is located far from the centre and the beach, but the local tube/ tram station is convenient for getting to the centre the beach within 15 minutes and to/ from the airport.
The air con and shower were excellent. the hosts were responsive and provided extra blankets when we requested them. The bed was comfy and the apartment provided most things you would need.
Overall we think the cost saving is worth it to stay here.
The area didn’t have loads going on, just off a main road with McDonald’s, Lidl and Burger King, the apartment was on a square which had homeless people/ teenagers loitering around in. That being said there are some very good, more ‘locals’ restaurants/ bakeries a short walk away and we ate some of the best food we had a walk from the apartment rather than the old town. The apartment was cold, clinical and lacked character/ soft furnishing.
The terrace is not a terrace. Not pleasant enough to sit out on. Worked well for drying clothes/ towels.
