Ho soggiornato per una notte . Il check in è stato semplice . All'entrata trovi una lavagnetta con i nomi di chi ha prenotato e il numero della stanza con la chiave. La mia stanza (3) aveva quattro letti a castello . C'è un piccolo lavandino e un armadio . Ideale per un gruppo di amici o una famiglia con i bambini non troppo piccoli. Ogni letto ha la sua illuminazione la presa usb e un asciugamano . La vista sulla baia è molto suggestiva. La cucina è ben organizzata anche se non troppo grande (basta organizzarsi ) . C'è tutto l occorrente per preparare il cibo compreso alcuni ingredienti (sale , olio, ecc) . Ci sono quattro piastre ad induzione ed un frigo di medie dimensioni . La sala ha una bellissima vista ed è abbastanza grande. Ci sono due docce ( con un getto spettacolare ) e anche la lavatrice. I bagni sono due di cui uno con lavandino . Struttura per i viaggiatori un pò romatici che amano respirare la storia del'luogo.

When I arrived at the Harbour building I found out that it doesn’t exist as accommodation anymore. it’s now housing for employees. Someone told me to go to the hospital building. I didn’t get a message about this so was quite surprised and hoping I still had accommodation somewhere. The hospital building does look a bit better but the location wasn’t what I had booked.

Amazing place! The history behind the building, interior design, fully equipped kitchen, very clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds. It's a hidden gem! Go & check on your own 😀

The place feels so homey and welcoming. Amazing view, friendly host. The kitchen has everything you need. There are books and boardgames available for guests. Facilities are great. To seperate toilets and a large shower room. Can only recommend.

complete dorm facilities, with full functional kitchen. the views were great, and the common space is awesome

The location is stunning. The hostel is cozy and has great common areas and bathrooms. The late check-in served us extremely well.
That my time there ended up being so short since we got there late and had to leave early.
From what I've gathered on my nights in Iceland I think it's pretty common but the pillows could have more substance to them.

Everything was great. Great price, you can walk to the city centre, and the instalaciones were big.
We would recommend it for sure!
The only bad thing, is that the shelves on the room were pretty dusty.

Excellent value for money, great location with a view of the harbor. We stayed at the only room out of seven that was a four-bed dorm room, and only had one guest on the top bunk. These were the best bunk beds of all the hostels that I've stayed at - comfortable and well-designed. Spacious and conversation-inviting dining area overlooking the harbor. Small kitchen but sufficient for our needs. Very cute and comfortable hostel.
There was a coffeemaker and coffee filters, but no coffee - ok, so coffee wasn't advertised in the listing, so I'm not complaining too much. Just that expectations were set...:) Also, the dorm room is the only one without a key to lock it - we didn't mind that at all, but check-in instructions specify that - instructions said to look for the key in the door, so it was confusing at check-in time and we had to call the owners to confirm.

No staff was found in this hostel, so I did self check-in. The room is simple with only the bed, a basin and very few furniture. Room heater could be adjusted to increase temperature.
The hostel is reachable from turning into a small road, so it is not very simple to find it especially at night. The staff are in the old hospital hostel, not at this site. It was hard to find solutions when I had problems.

very nice view on the fjord! 🌊 incredibly lovely to wake up to that :)
and it was very quiet
bonus: they have at least 5 ways to make coffee ❤️☕

We liked the kitchen and eating area. The shower was good, and we appreciated that laundry machines were available.
Room was a bit stuffy and walls are thin, but those didn’t bother us too much. We had an overall enjoyable stay :)

The only hostel in which we stayed during our week in Iceland (different place ea. night), but by far the very nicest place (and value) among all of accommodations across the country.

have paid washing machine and dryer but you have to pay cash!
no chair/table in the room, wifi is weak in the room, dark room and you have to close the window because people make fire in the garden.

We loved our stay at the Hostel. The dining area was big and had amazing views of the harbour and valley.

the place had a very nice atmosphere, equipped kitchen, dining room with a great view to the harbor, clean bathrooms
there was some smell in the room, it looked not clean, maybe the old tappets made this feeling.
