Large 4th floor, well located, quiet apartment near metro, Sol, many bars & restaurants. 2 bedrooms on opposite ends, smaller, en-suite with double bed, desk, chair, night tables, alcove to bathroom with shower, toilet, & 2 sinks. (Picture makes it look larger.) Wardrobe had extra towels & hangers. 2nd bedroom: 2 twin beds together, separate wardrobes, hangers, dressers, chair, & bath with 1 sink. Amenities: bath gels & shampoos. Acceptable kitchen with pots, colander, blender, toaster, MW, small 3-burner range, fridge/freezer, DW, etc. Adequate plates but sparce flatware & serving pieces. No sharp knives worth the name. Minimal provisions for 5-night stay–1 DW pellet, 1 laundry soap, small sponge, pepper, some olive oil, no salt or vinegar as expected. Good washer & dryer! To manager’s credit, when we reported an issue, the response was quick! On arrival, the handle of the en-suite bathroom door had fallen off. Repaired within an hour of reporting. On request, delivered vinegar, salt, dishtowels, oven mitts, veggie peeler. We would rate 5 stars with following additions: Luggage rack for en suite bedroom, non-slip mats & soap holders for both showers,10 cm SHARP paring knife, paper towels, wooden spoon & spatula, measuring cups & spoons, tongs, more than 1 DW ppellet, laundry soap, etc. for 5-night stay. NB: check ALL electric, doors, plumbing on arrival so you are not charged for other tenants’ damage!!! We would stay here again but check EVERYTHING at checkin. Pics!

We were visiting my daughter who is studying in Madrid, and it was our second time staying in Madrid. The location of this apartment cannot be beat. Right in the heart of the Sol neighborhood, it is a terrific place to have as your home base. It is just steps from a Metro stop, and there are restaurants and shopping galore. My husband and colllege-age son were more than comfortable. We appreciated the attention to detail, including plenty of nice hangars in the closets and a drying rack in the laundry closet. Would highly recommend!

Very clean with plenty of room for the 4 of us to spread out. Best location!! Everything is close and walkable. Beds were comfortable and each room has separate temperature controls. Plenty of cookware in the kitchen to cook up a meal and share some wine. A few streets back from Plaza so noise isn’t an issue. Thanks for a great stay!

The apartment is centrally located, which allowed us to walk to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. It was clean, comfortable, and the layout, with bedrooms on opposite ends of the apartment, afforded us privacy. There were enough basic supplies in the apartment for a 3-day stay; but we stayed 9 days and had to supply toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. The building was under construction and we should have been warned ahead of time. Rotary hammers, drills, and other very loud equipment went on Mon.-Fri., from 8:00 to 18:00. The noise was so loud we couldn't have a conversation inside the apartment. The construction crew taped paper to the floors and stairs; we tripped and slipped on the paper several times. Finally, the lock plate on the front door of the building was broken, which made it very difficult to unlock the main door of the building. Several times we had to wait for other tenants leaving the building to let us in. These last comments focus on a temporary issue, but it definitely affected our overall experience. We would not have chosen the apartment if we'd known about the on-going construction.

From start to finish booking this property was amazing. The unit itself was extremely comfortable and all the extra amenities (dishwasher soap, coffee pods, tea, salt and pepper... etc) was greatly appreciated. The location couldn't have been better and the level of communication was top notch. The only negative is there is renovations going on within the building that got a little loud in the mornings, but that obviously was no fault of the apartment owner!

This is a quiet, well-maintained apartment with modern decor right in the heart of Madrid. It has two full bathrooms and two comfortable bedrooms that are well separated. It has a big living/dining/kitchen area as well. You can walk to everything and you'll find yourself in the lively Plaza Mayor/Porta del Sol neighborhood. We were a mixed group -- young adults looking to go out/shop and older adults very into museums and everyone was happy. There are tons of places to eat and even a friendly 24-hour small grocery store across the street. There is an elevator for luggage (and when you are tired ...). The property management company is outstanding and I've traveled a lot to various properties in Europe -- they were the best by far. They met me at the apartment when I arrived and were helpful in every way. The apartment is in the back of the building, so there isn't a view (although there is light from windows into the courtyard, but it's not scenic). For us, this was a bonus because it was quiet and peaceful even on the night that Spain won a huge soccer match and the town went wild!

We loved this property. It’s spacious, clean, well-appointed and in a fantastic location. We walked to the three major museums easily from the apartment, and there were excellent restaurants and shops close by. The Sol subway is quite close. We would rent here again in a minute.

Lovely apartment, which was clean and perfectly located (honestly couldn’t be a better location). Very straight-forward check in process (a lovely lady was waiting for us with the keys when we arrived.). Lots of great restaurants within a few mins walk (we loved the Tapas and wine in San Miguel Market).
