Sun Guest House Cambridge

Location, proximity to shops and buses Kitchenette, spaciousness, use of kitchen downstairs. Very clean. Prompt response from owner when needed.

Plug in teeny weeny basin in bathroom gets stuck but didn’t matter as I could use the sink in the kitchenette. I would have liked to use a Pyrex dish in the downstairs kitchen but was able to make do with a baking tray.

Reasonable price, clean and comfortable

The shower (opposite room 5) was scorching hot and would not go cooler despite turning both taps in each direction

Good value for money. I especially liked that the lounge with the sofa was separated from the bed and bathroom. The kitchenette in the room had a fridge/freezer in addition to a sink and facilities for making tea/coffee, which was all I needed. There is a bigger kitchen down the hall from the room, where one could make hot food as well. Beds were very comfy, and although the room was situated towards the street the noice from the busy morning traffic did not disturb my sleep nor the morning Zoom-meeting I needed to attend.

Good location, good process for check in and room had required amenities.

Bathroom was dirty with water from shower not running away due to clogs in the water escape. Lots of cobwebs in the bathroom indicating lack of cleaning. Toilet bowl not cleaned. Bedding smelled badly to the extent it woke me up in the night
