This was an amazing little place. Not too fancy and no frills but clean, comfortable and in a superb riverside location next to the pub and steam railway. Towels were provided and the kitchen was well equiped for our stay. The downstairs wet room and bedroom is ideal if I bring my Grandad next time as he struggles woth stairs. A nice gesture was a bottle of wine for our arrival.
There was not much decoration e.g. a few picutures on the walls etc would make it look a little more homely. Instead of wine some tea, coffee and milk would have been more useful.
Fortunately I got all this en route but some places provide it so you can arrive and have a cuppa before going out shopping etc and perhaps could be mentioned on the welcome email that you need to get this before you arrive.
