Hotel Casa Palacete Tablas by Maxi Hoteles

I've been looking forward to rating this hotel - it is simply exceptional and greatly enhanced our enjoyment of our stay in Granada. The tone was set immediately on arrival when we received a warm greeting from the very professional and charming multi-lingual Diego; found we had been upgraded to a suite; and were given very helpful directions and recommendations for our stay. Our suite itself was restful, beautifully decorated, and the comfortable bed was equipped with luxurious linen. The hotel as a whole has a quiet boutique elegance that captures the spirit of Granada, from the fountain in the foyer to the murals on the walls to the decorations on the door of each apartment. The location is also excellent - close to the cathedral and the city centre, but quiet and safe. If you get the opportunity to stay here, don't hesitate - you won't regret it.

Location and ambience

No air conditioning first night - much too hot and no ventilation and we had little sleep that night. Lack of small comforts - no tissues, mini bar. No storage space. Limited hours for on site staff.
