Palazzo Italia Suites

Exceptionally clean, spacious and secure.

No issues.

Palazzo vecchio ma l’appartamento ristrutturato e pulito

Il lavandino del bagno era otturato.

Very clean great location, Excel communication will definitely recommend and stay one more time

The unit itself was clean and comfortable.

While the actual unit was nice, the building is a slum. The stairway and lobby display exposed mechanicals and are quite ugly. Over 50 stairs to the “second floor” which in the states is the THIRD floor. I don’t consider the building secure. Just press the button and the very old, wooden door opens. Host said hold for a second, but really just press the button. One of the handrails for the stairs wobbles and this is a danger to anyone carrying luggage. I was in unit 3 and it was clean and bed was comfortable and I felt entry to these units was secure. It is close to Bari Centrale and we were able to walk there. The windows on the stairs appeared to be open air and the view was unattractive with lots of garbage. In Italy it is mandatory to provide passport to host and it should have been collected through booking.com but this host wanted it through WhatsApp which is not how it should be handled. Other hosts collected passport info at check in but this host wanted it as soon as unit was booked which was weeks out. This unit is not suitable for older guests (we are 67 & 70).
