All is well. The apartment is on the edge of town but super close to places to eat and drink. Tarrafal is small, so you are never far from amenities and the beach. The wifi was great, we even plugged in our Fire Stick to get Netflix. Well equipped kitchen. The rain shower is great.

When we paid for the room, there was a glitch which prohibited the automated email / booking.com message with check-in instructions. All communication during booking was punctual and we connected on What'sApp. However, on the day of check in there was a delay - but it was assumed we had received the info. We sorted it out and everyone was super apologetic for the hour or so delay. To note, there are two phone numbers for contact; one in the communication and another in booking.com - this was key to our getting into the house.
