A hidden treasure.
I arrived late and it was very dark of course as in the middle of the countryside. Maybe needed to give a sign to the front door

It was so beautiful and full of plants! Very calming and peaceful. Our room was perfect for us as it had the sofa in too. The huge sunken bath was amazing for couples!
A bit of a drive to get around to places but if you are okay with driving then worth it for the accommodation.
We like a dark room and the king room has a skylight over the TV sofa area which doesn’t have a blind as up high in the eves of the roof so in the summer the sun is up early early and lights up the room! I brought a sleeping eye mask to help with that!

Skylight in bedroom ceiling directly above bed had no blind covering, woken up at first light
Difficulty accessing property with coded lock system being broken and requiring other access codes
