Unser GAstgeber hat einen Transport von Probolinggo Station organisiert 350.000, auch der Transport zurück haben wir so abgewickelt, das Auto war gut vor der vereinbarten Zeit da. Das wirkte sehr zuverkässig. So kamen wir direkt zum Zimmer. Dessen Lage ist toll, quasi direkt am Calderarand (100m ) . Ebenso 100 m bis zum Ortskern mit Restaurants und GEschäften und 100 m bis zum Weg´, der runter in die Caldera geht, wo übrigens im Oktober 2026 kein Ticket und Eintritt verlangt wird. Und wenn doch kann man es bar bezahlen . Das Zimmerchen ist recht klein, hat aber Bett, Stühle und Nachtische, Mit Gepäck ist es voll. Das Badezimmer hatte überraschend sogar warm Wasser, zumindest für eine Weile. Komfort sollte man nicht erwarten, aber kann man dort übernachten. Die Bettdecken sind für die Höhe ausreichend. Frühstück haben wir im Hotel Cemara Indah gegessen, 60.000 pro Nase.

Nun es ist klein, und das Bad einfach, aber alles funktionierte.

We loved our stay here. The view from our room was amazing with basic amenities, the location is brilliant if you want to do the walk to Mount Bromo / see the sunrise by yourself. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant and shops. The hosts were lovely and welcoming and we also really appreciated the snacks we were given. They helped arrange a taxi for us to get from the train station to the accommodation which was a member of their family. My favourite part is being able to sit outside the room and watch the village life go by. We can not recommend this place enough.

As it’s in the mountains it gets chilly at night. Luckily we had warm clothing but an extra blanket would have been nice.

the only positive note is the kindness of the girl who prepared the room for us, but in the other homstay to which they diverted us. she had to do it quickly, because she was taken by surprise, and she did what she could

once we arrived on site, a very nervous gentleman told us that the structure is "temporarily" closed and annoyed took us to another homestay we had booked and paid in advance but he seemed surprised to see us! then we had to wait (in the cold) for them to arrange a place for us: not a nice way to do
