The owner met us to check all was well and had left a wonderful hamper full of homemade goodies. The location was wonderful. Quiet, private and with fabulous views. The owner was very friendly without being interfering and gave us useful tips on places to visit.

Nothing. The hut was fitted to a high standard and we had all we needed with extras too.

We had a lovely stay in the Shepherd's hut! It's very well thought out so that it doesn't feel cramped, and it's well equipped. Our host was very welcoming (and the homemade cookies were delicious !)

I guess the only thing missing would be shelf space in the bathroom, but that's if we're being very picky!

Lovely shepherd's hut with everything we needed, comfy bed and shower. Great views and very peaceful. The host was friendly and helpful, providing a welcome basket pf goodies.

Leaving 😢

overall it was a lovely hut in the peaks . I think the location details need updating to say turn off the A515 at the junction sign posted Alsop Moor, as the address is making you think it is in Alsop en le Dale Village. but this is only my opinion as I do not have a satnav. The Welcome pack was very nice , milk, butter, bread, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee, etc. Kathy was welcoming and popped around to see if we were happy with everything and said we could dry our wet clothes over at the house if needed. The location in the countryside was lovely and quiet.
