This hotel is rather overpriced for what it is. 1 towel and a fly filled room for 2 guests is less than ideal. The restaurant is grossly overpriced with staff who are unable to bring the correct orders. Room lights not working, showering not running.

Amazing 400 year-old villas and exceptional service plus atmosphere

Everything was amazing.

The entire setting was beautiful, they’ve really made this into a lovely village in its own right, they’ve room we had was great and spotless. Staff were attentive and the restaurant was beautiful.

A little bit disjointed between changing over the pool area bar to the night bar. One shut at 5 then the other didn’t open until 5:30 so if you were having a drink there was a small gap. Very trivial.

Amazing scenery, with beautiful views overlooking the valley and sea. On the positive side, the room had a kettle and coffee machine with a good variety of tea and coffee. Breakfast offered a wide choice and the fruit was excellent.

This was a last-minute booking for a Standard Double Room. We chose the hotel mainly for its architecture, online reviews, and room aesthetics. We obviously didn’t expect the exact room pictured, as the hotel notes that each room is distinctive and may differ from the photos. However, we didn’t expect such a significant gap in design and upkeep either. Also, glass water bottles were being stored outside in the small courtyard near the entrance to our room. When we first entered, the room felt noticeably damp, and the presence of a dehumidifier confirmed this. The room would benefit from a solid refurbishment and furniture upgrade. The couch was visibly stained, and the curtains had clearly seen better days. Fortunately, it was summer, so the dampness was less of an issue. The pool area is also fairly limited, with guests already reserving loungers with towels as you would expect at a busy resort. The outdoor pool closes at 5pm during this season to accommodate the restaurant, although there is an indoor pool available.
