We were hiking the Wicklow Way. Sean offered to pick us up at the trailhead and took us back the next morning. He was extremely helpful! Our room was clean and comfortable. There was a well stocked kitchenette made available to us and pizza delivery was available (we took advantage of this). The highlight of the night was a stop at Big Noisy 99s recommended by Sean and his kids! A great stay!

Very comfortable mattresses. A great place to meet Wicklow Way walkers and share stories and tips. Sean the host is very helpful and friendly. The village itself is full of history. Great food available in the nearby Parkview House from Miollie’s kitchen.

Super property & outstanding host ! Newly updated & well appointed rooms. Sean’s attention to detail was not unnoticed. The kitchen is well stocked for breakfasts, and lunch provisions were also on hand for sandwiches and packed lunches. Sean was very responsive to all our inquiries and offered lifts back to the trail head for our entire group. He also has great merch if you’re walking the Wicklow Way!

Beautiful rural setting in Shilellagh. Lovely clean comfortable accommodation with lovely welcoming staff
Two single beds pushed together was a bit of a nuisance. Would have preferred double bed. Not a deal breaker though, fabulous clean room and great bathroom
