This is a perfect place for a comfortable and quiet stopover before Bhutan. The hostess is excellent and helps with everything. The room is large, comfortable and clean. It is located down some backstreets but they are safe. It is close to the Main Street with restaurants etc. A IR50 rupee tuktuk will take you to the Immigration Office in no time. We had breakfast also which was nice and fresh. We thought the entire package was exceptional value for money.
We didn’t have a single issue.

Really really nice stay. Especially considering the state of the town, its really a haven from the chaos.
The dinner (extra) was great value and so so tasty.
Great shower and bathroom, and the staff were exceptionally kind. Loved it.
We stayed an extra night returning from Bhutan as it was so nice.
Room could have plugs either side of the bed, but its a minor detail.

The homestay is in a perfect spot for crossing into Bhutan. It's absolutely fabulous in every respect. It's super clean, super cozy and the lady who runs it was so helpful and welcoming. She made us coffee on arrival and a wonderful evening meal which was delicious. We left early the next morning and she very kindly got up and made us breakfast. Can't rate it highly enough if you're staying in this area
Nothing at all. Everything was perfect

Always like home
Bed in 03 was very firm
Some don’t mind this if they prefer firm mattress
