A fantastic little cottage, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others or to stay there again in the future. The location and the view from the living room window are idyllic. We hadn't been to this particular part of Yorkshire before and were very impressed. There's plenty to do and see once you get there without using the car (particularly if you like walking), we only used the car once in 3 days.
The shower is a bit old-fashioned and could do with being updated. The downstairs (bedrooms and bathroom) were a bit chilly in mid-October so I imagine would be even more so in the winter. The heated towel rail in the bathroom didn't seem to be working, it came on once but not again for the rest of our stay. These were only minor things that didn't affect our enjoyment.

Location was ideal and property lovely and comfortable and clean
No parking outside property but was able to park down the bottom of the hill.

Location is brilliant, Pubs, Shops etc. within easy reach. Everything in the Cottage was clean and tidy with all bases covered. Beds were very comfortable. But the best for us was the spectacular views, along with the Sheep, Hares and the many birds dining on the berries on the tree outside the window.
We couldn't fault anything, Everything that the owner felt might have been an issue was upfront on the booking site.

We struggled with the heaters. Even though apparently set correctly most of them didn’t come on.
