The owner made us feel very welcome during our entire stay. There is a huge garden with lovely flowers and home grown vegetables. Our room had a terrace to the garden and the monastery. The area is really quite compared to Leh's noisy streets
The place is located around 10 minutes walk uphill from Leh's center. It was really okay for us to do the journey to Leh's shops and restaurants a few times a day but I can understand people who would prefer to stay right at the center
