Superbe maison très bien situé à proximité de Matala et de la côte Sud. Pas loin des plages et des sites antiques. La maison est très propre. Chambre pour 2 personnes avec salle de bain en bas et 1 chambre sur la mezzanine. Très belle hauteur sous plafond qui fait le charme de cette maison. La climatisation fonctionne très bien. L extérieur est superbe. Belle piscine avec son salon d été avec barbecue. Endroit très très calme. Parking juste devant. A recommander vivement. Contact avec la personne qui s occupe du logement très très bien (juste être un peu plus précis sur la rue pour arriver au logement : elle est venue à notre rencontre pour nous montrer la maison). La casa è arredata con gusto e dotata di tutto il necessario per trascorrere un soggiorno confortevole. Gli ambienti sono puliti, curati e ben organizzati. Lo spazio esterno è molto piacevole, con una piscina ampia e splendidamente illuminata, perfetta per rilassarsi anche la sera. La posizione è ideale per chi desidera tranquillità, privacy e comfort, pur rimanendo a breve distanza dalle principali attrazioni della zona. Un soggiorno che consiglio senza esitazione.

La casa è arredata in modo gradevole, la piscina è bella, bello anche lo spazio outdoor di fronte alla casa, con tavolo e bbq. Letti abbastanza comodi. Matala vicina.

Per essere una casa che viene chiamata “Afrodite Luxury. Pearl”, il lusso proprio non c’è. La pulizia non era buona, lo spazio esterno era sporco così come i pavimenti interni. La piscina non era pulita e non avevamo il retino per farlo da noi. Le sdraio sono usurate. Lo spazio retrostante è abbandonato a se stesso. Lavatrice e lavastoviglie inutilizzabili per mancanza dei detersivi. Abbiamo pagato per cinque persone e non avevamo piatti, forchette nè bicchieri a sufficienza, oltre al fatto che alcune stoviglie erano rotte. L’orario di check in è dalle 15, ho avvisato la proprietaria, tuttavia quando siamo arrivati erano ancora dentro a pulire e non hanno finito. Non avevano predisposto il quinto letto (ovvero il divano), ci hanno portato le lenzuola dopo. Ho contattato la proprietaria per alcune informazioni (come contrastare le formiche che entrano massicciamente in casa e come gestire le luci esterne - perché non ci sono tapparelle e le tende lasciano filtrare la luce) e le risposte sono state evasive, fino a che a un certo punto non ha più nemmeno risposto. La strada per arrivare è molto disconnessa e basterebbe molto poco per sistemarla evitando il pericolo di danneggiare le auto. Infine, pur non essendo dovuto lo segnalo, vista la cifra che ho pagato e la promessa di un lusso che non c’è stato, che non è stata nemmeno all’altezza della tipica ospitalità greca. In frigo abbiamo trovato due birre e basta. Si può fare molto molto meglio, viste le potenzialità della casa.

This was my second stay at Aphrodite’s Luxury Pearls. Previously, I rented Pearls 2 right next door. Pearls 1 has a significantly smaller pool, but it offers a beautiful view of the hill. If you don't mind driving to the beach and staying in a secluded area, it used to be a great place for 2 or even 4 people.

The houses are not very large, but they used to be nicely and comfortably furnished. I say "used to be" because a lot has changed this year.Unfortunately, the management has either failed to notice or is actively cutting corners, as the amenities are worn out and badly need replacing. As a result, you find yourself questioning whether you even want to use the kitchen equipment or sit on the dirty, sticky sun loungers.In this so-called "luxury villa," you won't even find basic necessities. There was no dishwashing liquid, no sponge, not even a single dishwasher tablet for the entire stay, nor a pinch of salt—let alone "luxuries" like paper towels or shower soap. This came as a shock to me. Having rented over a dozen houses in Crete, these items are an absolute standard and a core element of Greek hospitality. It is impossible to function without these basics, and running around looking for them in a small village is a huge hassle. Our request to the management to provide these items went completely ignored, so future guests should definitely prepare in advance. On a positive note, they did react quickly when we asked to turn on the outdoor lights, which the management seemingly switches off after 10 PM to save money.Unfortunately, the negatives far outweigh the positives, and I will not be returning next year. For this price (300 EUR per night), you can easily find something much better. I advise future guests to come fully prepared for their "luxury" stay here. As for the owners, I highly recommend reconsidering your management company. The current team clearly does not understand property maintenance, guest satisfaction, or basic human hospitality.
