The location was great. It was very close to the city center but on a quiet street. We easily walked there from the train station. Close to the city walls and perfect for all the main attractions of York.
The studio is small but exactly as described. It was furnished with everything we needed. It was perfect for a short stay for one person or a couple. The posted photos are fair and accurate.

It was comfortable and well equipped. The little kitchen included washing up things, tea, coffee and milk sachets, oil and other items. I needed to close the window because of outside noise one night and there was a fan I could use. It was quiet other than then. .
It was really good for one person. Not sure about 2.
The design of the bathroom and its sink and shower rail were odd and made it a little awkward. If the shower curtain had a curve the sink would have been more accessible. But it was a small issue.
