This property is very nice and evokes the southern charm of a New Orleans-type home with beautiful crown molding, lovely paint colors, and generous room sizes. Really terrific kitchen with everything you need to cook, serve, even bake, and all the dishes, glassware, cups, silverware and small appliances. Even extras like coffee filters and coffee, storage containers for leftovers, garbage bags, dish detergent, and laundry detergent are supplied by the host. The master with a nice on-suite bath is on the main level with two more bedrooms on the second floor sharing a jack-n-jill bath. All have very comfortable king beds and the seating in the living room is all comfy recliners. Nice large TV with surround sound and a lot of DVD's to choose from. There are very clear instructions for heating/cooling, trash pickup, operational issues, etc. The screened-in patio is very nice for morning coffee or evening wine or cocktail hour. There is a Walmart just one street away and even a liquor store and beautiful gift shop. Local restaurants and activities from Bay St Louis to Gulfport are no more than 20 -25 minutes away. The only caution I have is the next-door neighbor has a rooster, and yes, it crows starting at 5 am every day. The home is pet friendly, also, which is good if you bring pets with you, but because it is there are remnants of pet odors detectable: just be aware. The interaction with Vacasa was great and this home is a great getaway option in this area.
