Prime location with beautiful views (including sunrise), close to shopping, rocky beach and restaurants. Interior was clean and spacious but, as I gather is common in Sliema, we did encounter cockroaches in the kitchen area. The host provided us with spray when we notified them. There were a few missed opportunities in this apartment… specifically, bottled water for us on arrival (had to shop for it in the morning after a late night arrival), counter and storage space and more hooks or towel rails in the spacious main bathroom (which 5 of us shared)-it only has a pedestal sink, hand soap and extra toilet paper. The shower handle in the main bath is also too short to reach the hook on the wall (necessary for a stand up shower). Instructions for the air conditioning, rather than just a warning of a fine if it stopped working would also have been helpful. Mattresses were worn and coils palpable making sleeping less comfortable. However, based on the location alone I would still recommend this place - with a few simple improvements I would have given it 5 stars.
