This apartment is right in the middle of the action. Very central and convenient.

Updated after seeing the hosts response. I have seen the host’s response and, unfortunately, it speaks for itself as you can see for yourself. My original review was concise, honest, and professional — which I believe I am fully entitled to after paying £1,800 for a three-night stay for a family of five. The host’s reply was very disappointing. It came across as unprofessional, very personal, untruthful and unnecessarily unkind, and I do not feel it reflected the standards I would expect from someone in hospitality. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this host. ‐------- original post------ It should be noted that noise is a significant issue, disrupting sleep. There is heavy foot traffic in the alley next to the apartment until around midnight, and the café opposite begins setting up from 6 a.m. Installing double glazing in the bedroom would likely improve the situation. At £600 per night in April, the apartment feels overpriced for what it offers—particularly when compared to some hotels where meals are included. A small welcome hamper and some English tea bags would have been a thoughtful touch and helped improve the overall experience.

Beautiful property with everything needed for a stay. A lot of attention to small details… beautiful high quality bedding and towels, and special little extras like the selection of bath salts and little treats supplied on arrival, We stayed in December and found it to be very cosy for the cooler nights.

Soderini Splendor is like visiting a family or friend’s home. The flat is beautifully designed, equipped with all creature comforts - all the equipment you need to cook if you want to stay in; bath salts to take a luxurious bath; books galore if you want to to just relax and not go out. Riccardo, the host, is phenomenal. He was responsive and superbly helpful with every aspect of our stay, where to eat, how to get the Venice airport (spend the money and book your water taxi to Venice airport- soooo worth the ride). Riccardo is a gracious and generous host. We are so grateful and appreciate him. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Lots and lots of closet space to hang or put away your clothes/belongings. The bathrooms have been nicely renovated. There isn’t a detail in designing the space that wasn’t thought of. There is AC in every room. There is a washer and Riccardo provides the detergent. No dryer; use of hanging rack. It was all very comfortable! If you want to hear what’s going on in the square, open your windows (it has screens!! No mosquitos). If you prefer it quiet, close the windows. The location can’t be beat. It’s merely an 8 minutes walk to San Marco’s Square and the water bus; and 3 minutes walk from a non-busy private water taxi stop. It’s also situated on a quiet square where Venetians live. You get a great combination of local vibes and the ability to get to your museums and sights. Riccardo and Alessandra ~ thank you for your kind hospitality. We’ll be back!

Amazing apartment, spotless, very comfortable beds and great linens. AC in each bedroom. Location is perfect. Lovely host.
