No breakfast
Should say people should be 5foot 8 inches or taller to rent
I’m 52 and had a very hard getting into bed

This is a wonderful location away from Estes Park. Very helpful owner with great suggestions. The bird feeders were a super nice touch. We loved the hummingbirds all over the place. The local breakfast spot is wonderful—right across from the spring where you can refill your water.
The mattress needs to be replaced. The sides are very high and stiff while the sag is at a serious angle. It is very difficult for two people to get comfortable in it.
The water is also a challenge. The kitchen sink is either scalding hot or ice cold. The bathroom is manageable but touchy. We figured out how to work with it, but in particular the kitchen was difficult.

Private location. Convenient to hiking Roomy. Well stocked.
Hard to find initially. Some aspects were dated.

Overall, we loved the location and found the cabin to be cozy and comfortable! Everything was easy to use, and the cabin was well stocked with basic kitchen, bathroom, and living supplies. It was quiet, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for!
In Allenspark, there is no service (download maps before you go), so finding the cabin at night was difficult, but we managed with the help of some locals! The cabin was the perfect size for two people, but a larger party would be cramped and lack sleeping space.
