The location is perfect - only a minute or so from the main street but still in a quiet area.

We loved the quirky and imaginative renovation of the attic space to make this bjou flat but think the toilet could have been 15cm bigger without any loss of area to the lounge/living room but with a massive improvement to the comfort of using the toilet.

Excellent location, beautiful view of Saint~Hubert Chapel (burial site of Leonardo da Vinci) and the Royal Chateau in Amboise from the living room. Easy walk to the Chateau and Clos de Luce (where da Vinci died). Central location for many other Loire Chateaux and the Apocalypse tapestry in Angers. Small town, numerous restaurants in walking distance. Air conditioner in the living room kept the apartment cool while France was baking in unexpected heat! Hosts were friendly and responsive. Street and nearby parking made getting around easy. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and dishes/glassware—and the washing machine was a real plus. Recommend this charming apartment without reservation!

Not used to driving on narrow streets in a mid size vehicle. Rent a smaller car!
